In my old house, I had programmable timers. I don't have them here and think when we have some extra money saved we should add them to save. Who has programmable timers?

We just put a motion detector on Damon and Ryan's bedroom overhead lights so we can see if that saves any money - neitther boy can remeber to turn of the light in his bedroom - these switch on when they walk in and shut off after five minutes of no motion. If it works we will put one in the stair way and two in the family room (their other favorite lights to leave on!) Sounds like a good thing to look into. :) DaisyLady 11-26-2004, 08:07 AM We have a programmable timer on the lights at the end of our driveway. I want to put one on my fish tank and on the thermostat for the furnace. I like the idea of those motion sensors for lights. We definitely need something like that here! |
