Who uses low flow shower heads? We have them here and at first it was tough for me because I liked an invigorating shower, but now I'm used to it. Mine is adjustable, but still low flow. :) I'm happy for any water savings we can do here.

we use low flow shower heads. It was also difficult for us when we fist switched but we have had them for four years and we are pretty used to it - our killer though is length of shower time - our average shower time is 25 minutes - if we cut back to 17 mins we can reduce shower cost substantially per year in terms of heat useage and though we have a well - it cuts back gallon usage by three by reducing time 8 minutes (roughly 17 min showers are 6 gals. with a reduced flow head)

I have one of those european full strength, hand-held shower heads that has settings for rain shower all the up to jet force. NO ONE will take that from me. NO ONE! Having said that, DS's shower has a water saver head. :)
25 minute showers! crikey! My shower takes 5 minutes or 10 minutes if I wash my hair, which I do every second day now but in summer I'll wash my hair every day.

WE like long hot showers here - an indulgence - how the heck can you shave everything that needs shaving in five or ten minutes ?? I can't even get all the scrub off my face in that little time!! You must have this down to an artform!! :bowing:

kimmee, being a child of the 60s I gave up shaving when adam was in short pants. I have very fair leg hair and rarely shave my legs now (in the past I sometimes only did the fronts :) ) and never shave under my arms. I know - TMO  Gloria Steinem would be proud of me. All I do is go in there, wash all over with shower gel, wash my face with emu oil soap and then rinse off, then I'm done.

I shave outside of the shower, I have to, I can't see a thing without my glasses on! :yikes:
But I still take longish showers I guess, 10 -15 minutes, depends on if I am washing my hair.
We also have the water saving feature on the shower head. I don't always remember to use it though.

We have one on the shower dd uses otherwise we'd never have any hot water and our electric bill would be frightening:toothy: Why do teenage girls think it takes an hour to wash???

We have one in each bathroom, it took about a week to get used to it. We have had it for 4 years now. I am sure it's saving us $$ since there are many of us. :)
