Doubling sheets or an extra blanket on top of sheets is a good way to provide extra warmth. Mattresses tend to let in cold air.

In January we are draining all 4 beds and doing this so we can see the difference at the end of the year. I would imagine that the heat would escape through the box springs as well so I can see why this would make sense on a regular bed. SewCrafty 11-25-2004, 11:41 PM Wow, I didn't know that! Jack is always cold anymore and I am always hot now! My how things change? I'll try this when I change the sheets tomorrow. :) matt&roxy 11-26-2004, 11:01 AM I had never heard of this either. I will be giving it a try......:) |
