AmyBoz 12-20-2004, 06:15 PM Starting January 2nd, I will be having a home organization/decluttering challenge for the 2005.
Each month, we'll be focusing on a different area of the house and I'll be posting helpful tips and tricks and sharing useful website links as well. I encourage you to post away with your tips and tricks as well, as we spend 2005 clearing out the clutter and organizing our homes!
Please note that this is different from the Spring Fling. First of all, it's to last 4 seasons and secondly...well, let's just say...I don't do windows!
I'm really excited about this and have been spending much time in bed highlighting pages and getting my organizing books in order to share some great ideas! My home is excited as well! It needs to breathe!
AmyMCGS 12-20-2004, 06:25 PM Sounds great~ I'll look forward to it!
baxjul 12-20-2004, 07:39 PM Sounds good here too.
guest2 12-20-2004, 08:01 PM Looking forward to it Amy~
Maybe this year I can finally get our home organized!
kimmee 12-20-2004, 08:29 PM Oh - I am very excited - it will be wonderful to work on sections together and share ideas and be held accountable!! (is it "ible" or "able" - I always confuse the adjective and adverb endings...
I think "able" is being in the "do" of while "ible" is being "done to", right??? yes - I am a nerd!)
edited to say - it is ACCOUNTABLE . I had to look it up - verb conjugation act of being!! :toothy: Where the heck is debbie bush - she can relate to this stuff... AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
paelthom 12-21-2004, 10:21 AM Sounds good, but please start us off slow - I'll be in the hibernating mode and worn out from the holidays. I don't do windows either (but Mel actually does).
whoo hoo! I really need this....we are having a house built and I am going to start packing stuff up after the holidays....then when we get into the new house (around April) I vow not to have any clutter!!!
dz_blonde_girl 12-21-2004, 01:28 PM YES! High on my list of priorities are my bookshelf (which isn't really too bad, but could be more attractive), my kitchen utensil drawer and pots and pans cabinet. I need to get rid of the crappy old stuff after inheiriting some much nicer things. Then there's the bedroom.........:yikes:
kaykwilts 12-21-2004, 03:55 PM This is something I need to do! I'm looking forward to it.
rebecca 12-22-2004, 12:19 AM Can't wait tell we all get started. We'll get encouragement from one another!
Missy 12-22-2004, 12:59 AM I am selflessly offering up my own home for everyone to come over and test the tips and tricks, and any cleaning sprees that might be ovrwhelming. Really, no thanks are needed... :toothy:
frugalmel 12-22-2004, 01:02 AM LOL Missy!
I seriously need to follow this one. I am tired of having piles of papers (my downfall) everywhere.
graci42 12-22-2004, 02:21 AM Ahhhh....You're a stacker, too! My commiserations...sigh...need to get my flylady book back off my sis and get down to the nitty gritty!
Thanks...I'll see ya Jan 2...I'll be the one with the mop, broom, bucket and trashbags!
Dedlered 12-22-2004, 10:14 AM I am so going to need this, we are moving to a new home soon and I am going to purge and toss and organize

daddys3chicks 01-03-2005, 12:24 PM I'm a little late, can I just jump in now?
dhmunoz 01-03-2005, 03:49 PM I will keep an eye on this as well. I *so* need to organize. My house is not in danger of being condemned overall LOL but my bedroom looks like one of those hurricane aftermath photos!
I am determined to organize this year!
