I would like you to find a cardboard box (or a large plastic container that you aren't currently using) and I'd like you to label it "For Sale or Donation." Then, I would like you to place this box in a safe place. What do I mean by safe? Somewhere out of the way, safe from the eyes of the others who live in your household, and safe from your own eyes as well.

Just as I will be posting quick toss challenges, I will also occasionally be asking you to locate one item in your home that you no longer use, but that is too good to toss. Once you have made a decision that something in your home is no longer useful to you or anyone else, but is too good to throw away, you will go to this box and place it there. In the spring, we will look at the box and you can determine if you would like to sell the items or donate them, etc. However, they will not be allowed to remain in your home.

You don't have to go looking for items to sell or donate today. Your homework is to merely locate the box and find a safe spot for it.

I have a box in my bedroom closet exactly for this purpose.

I started a donation box yesterday while putting away our Christmas stuff!

I just threw out a big box that would have been perfect.:(

I will look for one tomorrow at school. I know they usually have alot in the cafeteria. I can get one from there.:)

Ok-- got the box, now I have to clear a space for it in my closet. Uhm. . . . . . I think I'll need a bigger box and bigger closet if we're going to wait til spring to get rid of the stuff.

Got one ready. Actually, I have a couple of boxes in case the first one gets full.

I have a pile :bang: but it is in plain view and people keep "going through " it before I get it out of here - I like the out of view idea - I wish I had a small locking shed ~ way out back out of view!!:) I willl establish a sneaky out of the way place by Tuesday!

OK, I have a box and it's temporarily in the spare bedroom, subject to change at a later date. I'm not sure that spot is out of the way quite enough, but we'll see as time goes on.

I have a big old ugly wicker basket that I can use for this. I'll even donate the basket if need be! I have it hidden in the basement bedroom/sewing room - safe from all those eyes.

Okay, I'll go retrieve a box from the garage. I know DH hasn't thrown them away yet!
