My boss is in the process of hiring for all of his stores. He interviewed about 15 people this morning at the one I am at and I heard him tell most of them (the ones that wanted FT instead of PT) that if hired they would start out at PT until I left and then they could get FT hours. I had a chance to talk to him between interviews and we came to the conclusion that I would work FT until the end of Jan (including training my replacement) and then for the first 2 weeks of Feb I will switch to PT (3-4 days a week) which will work out great since I will be having Dr's appointments once a week from the end of January until the end of the pregnancy.

He said he is all for me working up until the end, he just doesnt' want me to over do it or feel pressured into staying longer than I want to.

He also said that when the time comes he would love for me to come back, but I could take as much time off as needed until I can find a day care and I could possibly start back at just PT and work my way back up to full time.

I'm kind of glad he approached the subject first and I am glad that we were pretty much on the same wave length as far as how long I will work. I was actually going to ask to cut back on day's/hours as it got closer to the end.

As of right now that would put my last day of work being 2/11 since my DD is 2/18 unless I work a few day's that week as well (although the 24/7 of nothing but rest sounds like a good plan too) :D
