So we are back to blankets and sweatshirts. Whew!! Slacked off last month and boy does that heat bill bite ya in the ARSE! Heat is back down to 65/68. It'll be painful paying this bill since I KNOW BETTER!!~

Don't feel bad. We live in a small home, and electric bill was $150 last month. We have paid attention to everything lately. Good luck!

Gas, electric. medical. food. It all adds up fast..especially with price increases.

Also go over that bill with a fine tooth comb....it may NOT be the amount of gas or electric you're using, but the extra deregulation "fees": transporation, origination, etc.

Our actual electic usage is $40/mo, but with everybody's fees and taxes, it's about $100.

Not even mentioning the price...it must have been a scary bill.:nerv2:

Last year, we had one horrible utility bill in the winter -- all util, even trash and water, are bundled together in our small town. Anyway, the bill was $450. :eek: This winter, I've pretty much kept the heat below 68. Let's hope we do better.

I don't want to know what my electric bill is for this month...I feel your pain!
