Well, I was going to wait until tomorrow morning, but I figured, I'm here now, most of us don't have to work today, so why not start small today?
Go to your dresser. Go on...go ahead. I want you to open up whatever drawer holds your underwear, bras, slips, etc. Now, for those of you who will say "Ooh, I don't keep my stuff like that in my dresser...I'm done!" guess what??? I want you to go WHEREVER you keep those items! (Ha! Foiled your little plan for escape! :toothy: :toothy: )
Now, let's be realistic. How many pairs of underwear do you need? How many do you actually wear? How many bras do you need? How many slips do you need? I want you to take a good, hard look at this stuff and pare it down. Severely.
I know that I am a victim of the too many pairs of underwear syndrome. I have my underwear for regular days, underwear for when I'm feeling fat, maternity underwear, underwear for my jeans, underwear for linen pants, etc. I need to go through there and really get tough with myself. It's just not necessary to have it all, and the fact is, even though it is not causing me stress to have all this underwear, like other clutter may, it is still a step in the right direction. Less underwear means less choices to have to make each morning, and we could all do with a few less decisions to have to make!
