Okay, it's time to get real with your shoes.

Go to wherever you store your shoes. (I'm posting this under our bedroom section because for many of us, that's where our shoes are...if yours aren't there, go to where they are)

Now...get real.

How many shoes do you need? How many do you wear? I have quite a few pairs of shoes and although I pared them down a few months ago, I don't believe I was as thorough as I should have/could have been.

I have a pair of sneakers that I wear on the weekends...every weekend.

I have a pair of slip on suede comfy shoes that I wear to school and around the house sometimes.

I have a pair of black heeled-loafers that I wear to school.
I have a pair of brown mules that I wear to school.
I have a pair of black high-heeled boots that I wear to school occasionally.

Then I have a whole bunch of shoes that I never wear, but am saving for some special occasion. Well, that stops today. While I'm snowed in this evening, I'll be making some tough decisions about my shoes. I want to whittle down my shoe holdings by 75%. It's gonna be tough, but I can do it!

No one needs to check in on this project until Sunday evening. If you finish early, fabulous! But no one will think you are slacking if we don't hear from you until tomorrow night. Shoes are tough to part with. Don't ask me why, but they are!

Omg -- I have like 50 pairs of shoes. I already whittled down like 30 of them. *whine whine. This one will be TOUGH!

N-o-t.....m-y-.... SHOES!!!! Okay, okay...I'll get to it!

I am the only woman in the world who only has three pairs of shoes and one pair of boots. I have a good pairs of sneakers, a "outside" paid of sneakers and one pair of snow boots. I have one pair of dress shoes.

All of our shoes are in our mud room inside a cedar lined chest that my DH built for this purpose. I got so tried of hearing "Mom I can't find my shoes" :D

I actually only have 1 pair of shoes & 1 pair of slippers. I ALWAYS go barefoot in the house or I wear socks I've never been a shoe person. I just bought a new pair of each plus new sockies:D I keep the shoes & slippers in my bedroom.

Oh, I don't know if I can do this one! I recently went thru my shoes, sneakers, boots, dress boots, sandals, etc. and threw out anything that was old and worn. I know I still have way to many, but I don't know if I can part with them, I'll do my best Amy, I may not reduce them by 75%, but I'll give it my best shot :)

I cannot get rid of any more shoes. I just did this about a month ago, and I know that what I have left that I cannot part with............;)

lol, I also am shoe deprived :) I have 1 pair of sneakers that I wear all the time...and a pair of dress shoes that I wear when I want to look nice.

Okay, those of you who already have 3 or less pairs of shoes...you're off the hook. The rest of you, I told you that this would be a tough one. Let's go...make the hard decisions.

I'm done. Out went one pair of brown high heels, that are too uncomfortable, one pair of black clogs, don't fit. That leaves me with 2 pairs of boots, one sneakers, one brown flats, one black flats, various flip flops for summer!!!!

Alright, I did it!!!! I am down to 10 pairs of shoes, but really I can't get rid of them. When I did this last month I got rid of 100 pairs of shoes, and today, I gave away another 55 pairs........:eek: I CANNOT GIVE UP ANYMORE.......IT WILL KILL ME........;)

Matthew keeps telling me, "It will be okay Roxy, you still have about 9 pairs more than most"............:D

Just for the record.........I have never spent over $10.00 on a pair of shoes. I only buy the clearanced bargains!!!!!!

I also made Matthew put the shoes in the trunk of the car, as I drive the van, that way I won't "sneak" them back in.........;)

What is it with shoes?????? I have two pair of boots(one black, one brown), a pair of black dress shoes, a pair of every day shoes, a pair of gardening shoes, and about three or four pairs of flip flops.... NO other shoes... Dear sis in law has about 20-25 pair of shoes, and she doesn't wear them... So many times I have asked her do you really need another pair?? Most of the time she gives away her shoes because she doesn't wear them... Sorry about my rant.... Shoes are done.
