And it improved from last month (by three dollars) but it still higher than november. But it is WAY down from last year this time..even through it is only a small difference at least it is moving in the right direction.
How is everyone else's electric bill?

Ours is way down too. We haven't turned the heat on for almost two weeks now and are hopeing it will continue to go down. The house gets down to 64 by morning but we've been having sunshine and so it's been heating up well during the day.
I hope yours continues to go down.

WTG.....:smball:
Ours was over $200, and I just do not understand how......We do not have our heat high, it is set on 68, we turn lights off when not in use, the computer is turned off when not in use, we rarely turn on the tv. Two nights out of the week we even use oil lamps at night and play games......No electricity being used!!!!! I just don't understand why my bill keeps going higher when every month I find more ways to use less...........:(

Our electric bill was $312. up $54 from last month (we need to keep it a little warmer in here for mom) and gas was $57, neither one was as high as we expected. Sure can't wait to hook up the new heater!! Its going to save sooooooooooo much :dollar:

Thats an improvement!!!!
I just was mad when I open our last electric bill. It was 116 (no gas only electric), month before was 94, month before that was 78.
I read the fine print on the last bill and they increased the rates by 7.5% plus raised the taxes. UGH.
The same day I got the new car ins bill up 12$, new homeowners up 150$.

Ours was up too - kind of a surprize, really. Last months was $107 for a 42 days period, this months was $113 for a 34 day period. I am really running out of ideas to try and lower it. We have not turned the heat on once. DH even started unplugging some of his computers (we have about 8-9). I'm trying to be more vigilant about turning lights off.

My electric bill was $165 that does not include heat or hot water. Although it was for 35 days.
