I'm reluctant.... gkp1031 01-24-2005, 07:46 AM No, I wouldn't. I've never had to do a lot of paperwork when switching phone companies. DaisyLady 01-24-2005, 08:43 AM If I was happy with the company I was with I wouldn't change it especially if it involved paperwork. For a $3 saving it just wouldn't tempt me. MelinaG 01-24-2005, 09:23 AM I probably would because that $3 could be One of the following ~4 loafs of bread ~a gallon of milk After a year it would come to $33 which would pay for ~7.2 months of internat access (access4less) ~two tanks of gas (for our toyota echo) ~A weeks food shopping ~ A month of cable ~two months of long distance calls ~6 weeks of swimming lessons for my DD I don't know. Maybe I am just super anal but I fully belive that if you take care of the pennies the dollars take care of themselves. Three dollars here and three dollars there adds up. I closed a checking account because they started charging $3.75 a month for it. There was a free checking at another bank so we switched. I say go with your values set. For instance I value the environment so I will drop extra $$ on environmental friendly product like windsheilds washer fluid by sierra. But I won't step into a wal-mart to save $$ do to thier contribution to urban sprawl. I would switch telephone companies to save $3 because I really don't think twice about the phone. And that $33 a year would be better off going towards something I do value. Melina |
