Okay, just need to tell someone this. Last week we had a mandatory meeting, (I work in a bank) it's a branch with 9 employees. The manager yelled at all of us because she is on probation for not selling enough. (Getting new accounts) So, she basically said it is all of our fault. So, yesterday she sends all of us an email that said today is another mandatory meeting at 8:30 AM. Nervous about what we all did wrong now!!!! My stomach is all upset, etc...
Just needed to get this off of my chest. Thanks:)
hugs and prayers for you!!

Let us know how it goes hon...
I've been in a job before where I was the main hub in a wheel (where each spoke was a diff dept)... and I started getting blamed daily for stuff I had no control over.
If it gets too bad where she's blaming you all for stuff you have no control over or is just venting... I'd take it to her superior...
but not alone! maybe talk to a few fellow trusted coworkers to see who'd be willing to take a stand (even if it's only 3 of you... it's still enough to get her talked to).
Much luck hon!
*well wishes*

Don't most people who come into a bank already have accounts?
Maybe she wants you to stand outside with a band and wave flags. Trying to make you laugh to relieve some of the tension & hoping that the meeting is to apologise for being a big ole grump.
Good luck!

Hmm.... Very good point Darlene.
How about since they're looking for new accounts... do what the credit card agencies do.... send out notices (or go personally) to high school students!!!
I cant tell ya how many CC offers I got at 15!!! They still dont' stop... but I to this day do NOT own a CC! ;)

I understand just how you are feeling. Nothing like office pressures to upset your stomach and ruin a day. Sending you hugs that soon things will settle down.

how'd the meeting go. I hope it was for her to apologise for blowing her stack at the first meeting. Or maybe she had ideas to boost accounts?
Hoping it all went well!

So, we all were at the table, yet again, getting yelled at. First, because of overtime, yet the one that does the schedule won't listen to us if we tell her we will have overtime. Then, we aren't getting enough new accounts... We live in a small town, I'm not sure yet how we are supposed to be getting these new accounts? So, everyday is very stressful. Thanks for thinking of me!!!!!
