Is there anyone else here living on one income, not by choice? DH and I are. Dh quit his job about 4 months ago. We discussed it first and he had a lead that was supposed to come through for him in about two months, so we figured he would probably be employed in 2 months. We saved up enough for 4 months just in case. Well, we're at the 4 month mark now. I just had to write out the first really big check from my checking account to cover rent, groceries, car insurance, telephone, and electric. It really kind of hurt to see that much money go right out of my checking account. I've run the numbers and on my income alone I can cover everything with only about $10 a month left over. So this is really hard for me. Just wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat.

We were until exactly one year ago. I had lost my job to downsizing, and didn't get unemployment or anything. It was pretty hard to do! I eventually had to find a job, because we weren't making it. Still we are playing "catch up" with all of our bills. Good luck!!!
