Hi Everyone,
My son had his surgery on the 23rd of may. b/f (nick's dad)
kept telling them at work he couldn't do any overtime cause he had to help me. Nick didn't sleep and screamed all day.
when he was home he didn't help me he sat on the couch and watched tv and drank beer.
Now nick is doing so much better, sleeps in his crib now eats every 3 hours and is gaining weight like he should. we are talkign about a baby that screamed 22 out of 24 hours a day. No more screaming. Now he is grabbing all the over time his over time check is bigger than his regular check and after all i have gone through you'd think he would give me some money to go off on my own. i need new clothes have dropped 50 pounds since nick has been born. not good i know but had no appetite. Wont give me a cent. spend 150- 175 a week on beer and smokes. Someone stop me from killing him. When nick gets up at night i get up so he doesn't have to even on weekends when he has off. not no more i told the owner of his company that he can now take all the overtime he can get and give him the real late night stuff and he is haha. thanks for letting me vent DOnna

Donna, I am glad to hear that Nick is doing well. Thank goodness for that! OTOH, it's time for b/f to do his share as a dad! Let him get up every other time with Nick or at least have him bring him to you for feeding. You (I am sure) have major sleep deprivation and need four or five solid nights of sleep to become human again. Let him know this! DO NOT try to be superwoman; this is his child too!

As for new clothes, if he won't let you get any new ones and HIS will fit you, wear his! When he can't find his favorite shirt because you are wearing it, things will change! Good luck kiddo and keep us posted about Nick.

It takes 2 to make them, it takes 2 to take care of them. When the baby wakes in the middle of the night- get up and bring the baby to b/f in bed with the bottle already made and you go lay on the couch. I garentee you it will be impossible for him to ignore a screaming baby next to him. It amazes me how some men think that once they've done their part as sperm donor, their job is done.

Hi Laura,
Nick was screaming the other day and i was at my witts end. So
i clicked on to the nextell direct connect part and let him scream in to it. b/f wanted to kill me. he had just dropped off a passneger which i knew he did thats why i did it....
WHen are you due? do you know what your having yet???

The beauty of Nextels. Next time, tape the button down, heeheehee! You need your 5 minutes of sanity, it amazes me he can't realize that.

I'm due Nov 25. I have an ultrasound next Fri, so I'm hoping those little legs will be wide open, LOL! I'm really hoping for a girl this time. It would be nice to have one of each.
