She did it! She did it!

We have been talking about the potty a lot lately. She is more than (phsyically) capable of using the potty- she doesn't wear a diaper to bed and won't go to the bathroom without a diaper on. But she wouldn't use the potty. She did use it once maybe 6 months ago, completely on her own, and I didn't even know it.

So last nigh, I was taking a bath when DD came up and told me she used the potty. And she had!!!

Update- until yesterday , Maggie hadn't used the potty again at all. Then all of a sudden, yesterday, she used it 4 times! Yay!!!

WTG! I share your joy. It seems like overnight Isabel is just completely trained. I never thought I could get so excited about 'potty' issues! :toothy:

Ally announces when she is two seconds before peeing in her diaper. We race and she sits on the potty and she says never mind and that she doesn't have to go. Then a few minutes later same story. lol

She went on the potty 4 times earlier this week, then the next day protested completely, then went once one day, and nothing since yesterday.

Personally, I don't think she's ready. She doesn't stay dry overnight.

She gets very excited that she uses it. It will happen soon enough over here.

Sara, Maggie is so funny, because she stays dry overnight, and has since at least 15 months. I think even sooner than that, really, but I can' t prove it.

She is like a little wildfire with this potty thing- she used it four or five times oday, including two BMs, which I think is a HUGE deal. Way to go. Maggie!

She'll be wearin big-girl underwear before we know it.
