Hi everyone!

I`ve been meaning to post this for a long time but, always would forget...(what can I say!LOL!)

These tips are probably no secret for you, but I wanted to share them with you as I found these over the years, here and there:

What to do with your left overs? Eat them the next day? Freeze for later? Or reinvent them all together! :wand:

*First, to simplify your work, why not organise your left overs?
Have in your freezer a couple of 5 litres containers, in which you
add your left overs systematically.
*one for the leftover vegtables
*one for the leftover meats
*one for leftover stock or bouillons
*one for leftover fruits, half eaten from the kids...
*one for leftover rice, one for noodles...

-When the containers are full enough at your preference, make something with them...

Make a soup : put all your leftover vegtables you have been saving in some chicken or beef stock. You can also add a left over rice or noodles. Cook a little. Et voila! Your soup is ready!

Make a meal pie :in a pie crust, add some leftover vegtables of your choice, then, some leftover meat.
Add some leftover sauce or make a quick sauce to add. Add the spices you want. Cover with a pie crust and cook at 350 F for about 20-30 minutes.

A casserole : Again, leftover meat, vegtables with rice with some cheese on the top. Put in oven until cheese is melted. Maybe you would want to add some liquid in the casserole so it won`t be too dry.

Make a quiche : Beat 4 eggs and 1/4 cup of milk togather. Add this to some leftover vegtables in a pie crust. Add some cheese if you wish.

Desserts : With some fruit too ripe:
*make a fruit salad
* a milk shake with fruits
* Make a rapid pie: add fruits in a cooked pie crust and cover
with some whipped cream.
*fruit muffins-add bruised fruit to your favorite muffin recipe.
*dry bread: make bread pudding
*overbaked cookies: make crumbs with them, mix with some
melted butter for a sweet pie crust, which you will add
an instant pudding or homemade pudding.

As you can see, it`s quite simple and when you think about it, left overs is almost like a free meal!:fdance: All you have to do is let your creative self emerge!:chef2:

I hope these help!:)
