Because there is such an interest in the book Financial Peace by Dave Ramsey, we will be doing a study on the book.

Our starting date will be June 27th. That should give everyone a chance to get a copy from their local library if at all possible.

I can't wait to start this and have anyone that is interested take part.

This sounds like an excellent thread to start. I have come out way ahead of paying my debt and following his steps, except like I said in the other post that I'm still putting in my 401 (b) due to starting retirement late. I had to dig in my EF so I'm building it back up. Hopefully by the end of this month I will have $1,000 in my EF.

I'm going to get his revised Financial Peace this weekend at the library. I'll try to get the first book and join though.

A good companion book is The Financial Peace Planner. I went through it along with reading Financial Peace a few years ago.

Picked up financial peace at the library and read it in 2 days. It is awesome!

My library has Financial Peace but doesn't have Total Money Makeover yet. The lady who orders books said it is not available but they are going to purchase a copy after July 1st and will let me be the first to read it.:D I'll try to keep up with the discussions. Thanks.:D

Well, my library didn't have financial peace, but I got total money makeover and dh and I will be going through that instead.
