I wanted to run by the local thrift store for just one thing -- a fitted twin sheet (needed for a scout camping trip). Didn't realize that it was '$5 a bag' day.
Bag sale day is MOSTLY a disadvantage, because there are soooo many people. Jostling in the aisles, etc.
But, I did manage to fill a bag. Here's how I spent $5 and filled a bag:
* twin fitted sheet
* Clifford & Willis black knit skirt (for me)
* Nordic gear hood and scarf combination (for DH)
* Ralph Lauren skirt (intended for me, but too small :( )
* Napa Valley denim skirt (for me)
* Lands' End wool stocking cap (for DH)
* Gap sweater for DD
* the kids threw in a few small toys
and .... drumroll ....
* Central Park West hot pink sweater for DD -- 100% cashmere!!!!
