I'm currently reading The Total Money Makeover and really like it so far. Does anyone know how Financial Peace is different? Is it mostly same ideas, or does it have any ideas/tools not covered in TTMM? If it's the latter, I would consider reading it after I'm done with TTMM.

I have TMMO and the financial peace planner. The concepts are the same pretty much. Check out your library to get Financial Peace. If you find you love it you can always buy it. I bet I checked FP out 6 x before I bought it at the librarys annual sale for .25
Another great book by Dave Ramsey is More than Enough.

Thanks, rodmick! The TMM book that I'm reading right now is also on loan from the library ;) I'll see if they carry FP, and might check it out after I'm done with this one...

I have both but I prefer the FP and esp. the FP Planner (workbook). These 2 seem to explain things but better than TMM.
I got mine used online.

I checked all of them out of the library last week and read each one. Lots of repetition. I'd suggest reading Financial Peace Revisited and Total Money Makeover. They were both pretty good.

My husband and I were loned Total Money Makeover by a friend and I really enjoyed it, although I have not read any other books by Dave Ramsey. The snowball principal has really helped motivate me. I thought that was one of the best ideas in the book. So simple, yet so motivating, when put into action.

I have Read The Total Money Makeover Book from Front Cover to the Back Cover. My Dh and I went to a Total Money Makover Live Event when Dave Ramsey Came To SouthCarolina. I would personally love to have a Copy of Financial Peace Revisited or Even Financial Peace. I found that Total Money Makover was Great but it was mostly Stories of Families already out of Debt not much Help in the Way of Ideas and How To Put a Budget into Practice and Stick to a Budget. I did however Love the 7 Baby Steps. My Family and I look at that Daily on our Fridge to Remind us to Work Towards our Goal of Becoming 100% Totally Debt Free including our Home. My Favorite Dave Saving is Live like No One Else so Later You Can Live Like No One Else.
