Hi everyone!
I`m loooking for a way to clean my light beige colored sofa. It`s more like grey, now...:( The fabric is kind of tweed.
I don`t want to pay 89.99 $ to have Sears come and clean it...and I need to do it soon...I have family coming on the 13 th of July!:surprise:
Anyone....? Thank-you...:)

Good question! I would like to know the answer to that one! Mine needs to be cleaned really bad too because my boys don't seem to know where the table is!!!

Do you know anyone with a carpet steamer? We use ours, along with a mixture of Oxiclean and laundry soap, to clean our couch. It's amazing the difference in it.
I know you can rent those cleaners for $19.99 here at the grocery. Don't buy the "special" solution for them. Use one -two tablespoons of detergent, and a scoop of oxiclean mixed with the water it takes to fill the container. Rinse afterwards with clear water, with one tsp white vinegar (helps deoderize).

Thank-you Ashe,
Is Oxyclean a brand of a certain cleaner? I`ll check it out at my grocery store and do you use laundry detergeant?
I was thinking more in using a brush and some kind of soap homemade preferably and scrubbing thre sofa, but maybe I should rent a carpet steamer like you said.
My sofa is really dirty!:surprise:
