This is a big hug to the ladies here who make it special.

I'm in a hurry this morning but popped in to check on what all everyone is talking about.

I enjoyed Early Birds knitted dishcloth thread, with those cute pictures knitted right in,

then Rebecca's programmable thermostat thread

Missy's Share thread with a side order of menu planning and the sale of her baby things

and then yesterday's conversation I had with Early Bird and her experiments with cookie recipes, (way to go EB with your test kitchen in your home)

and Sara has a mason jar fat quarter craft project

Darlene's thread on nightstands which is a fascinating glimpse,

the homesteading thread which I drop in to read, if not answer in on (mainly due to guilt that I won't keep it up)

what's for dinner is always a blast

Sunshine, bless her, like her name is encouraging us to be kind with world kindness week,

Shaunta's got a neat thread going on Debt dieting

and Forestdale aka Rhonda takes us to an air shot of her home in which we can imagine parachuting in for a cup of tea!!!!
:toothy:

ironmaiden has us confessing our frugal failings which is always comfy knowing that the others are just as faulty as me

Julia Kimber has several jokes and funnies to brighten the day.

I don't always answer in on all these threads, but I sure appreciate the many ways you all give your time, thoughts and tips and yes, hugs to make this place special.

Have a great day, I'm off to teach Romans this morning to the ladies bible study and then up to see a friend for tea (it's Tuesday the day I have the car) and swing by Cooper's foods to cherry pick the specials on the way home, finishing up by picking up some more paint, and finally dh.

See you all later!:grouphug2

Margery, your posts are always special too. I love it when I see a new one. I return your big hug.

It's funny but usually I come in here, read and add my 2 cents worth. Then I go back to what I'm doing, only to return here for a peek at the threads later in the day. I always find somthing that inspires or teaches me something. But every so often I come in and I'm overcome with what this site really is. I see the love and support that just oozes from some posts and it amazes me. I see the neverending flow of interesting posts that teach and inform and I feel privileged to be part of it.

This site is different to others I've been at. Many sites are interesting but none of them is as accepting, supportive and continually interesting as Frugal Village is. :)

Awe Thanks Margery..

I love to read everyone's posts as well. There is always encouragement, support, laughter and yes, as Margery pointed out, guilt.

I especially love the children of our households, the tears and the laughter that they provide, making us look in awe at the wonder of our little or not so little blessings.

You know, Margery, you're probably roughly the same age as me, but, because your kids are already out of the nest, you have many INSIGHTS from those years with the chaos of children.

When I couldn't access the boards, I came across this and was reminded of you: [no age slur intended]

Even without being physically present, you're a fine teacher!

aw thanks!!! I love Laine's letters and that is a wonderful compliment! I am 48 going 49 this year, and I feel like now the kids are grown and gone and flying on their own, that I like to share what worked, what didn't and that sort of thing.

Besides, where else would people put up with my obsessions on germs and cleaning and dishcloths and tea tree oil up the nostrils and other little things I'm prone to share whether asked or not. ROFL ESPECIALLY the tea tree oil tip!!!:toothy: heheheheh

Oh and Margery don't forget Star Wars and quantam leap (is that the right stuff)? :toothy:

Where else can you also find chickens named after members? :toothy:

All kidding aside, I'm with Rhonda in that I'm always finding something new and interesting here. The village really is special and like no other. All in part to Sara - she does a fantastic job of making it what it is and then the members who give of themselves. Without either, the village wouldn't be what it is today.
