Okay, let's start organizing our lives for 2006 before we actually begin the New Year, New Home challenge.

If you've bought your calendar for 2006, it's time to get it out. If you haven't, go out and get one, or print one online, or find wherever it is that you organize your life. Go through each month of 2006 and compare it to your 2005 calendar. Fill in birthdays, anniversaries, and any important dates that you must remember in the new year. This way, you don't have to spend time remembering these dates each month. They are already written into your calendar for you. Do it for the whole year.

If you've done this, you've already got a step up on the new year! Organizing your time is just as important as organizing your 'stuff'!

I did this yesterday. I got myself an appointment book and did the same thing a couple days before Christmas. It feels good to have this done already.

I got a calendar from Walgreens that had columns for each family member (5 of them, just right for us!) and I'm going to try using it at the shop. I have a dry erase calendar on the back porch, it's the "center" of our information center, and I keep the family member's activities color coded on that one. I'll start filling out this Walgreens one though.

I'm counting on you Amy, this will be the year for me the "disorganized queen" to get it together...you have helped me so much already...I am excited to get started with you in 2006.

I just did January.
All my important appointments, birthdays, etc are in my pda, so I just look at it at the beginning of the month & then put it on my calendar.

I did mine last month when I received my new calendars from my insurance agent. He always gives us 2 really nice ones each year and I just transcribe all the important information from last years onto this years.
