Today I want you to take a grocery bag, shopping bag, any sort of extra bag you have laying around the house (no, not a little Ziploc bag, cheaters!) and walk through your home and fill it with garbage. Look in drawers, on horizontal surfaces, under things: anywhere that there are broken things, trash, etc. If you fill it up before you’ve visited all of the rooms of your house, that’s okay. Take it right outside and put it in the garbage. You are done for today. If you visit all the rooms and it’s still not full, make another round, looking in places you might have missed before. If it’s still not full after two rounds, wrap it up and take it outside, and good for you!

I'm done, it only took about 10 minutes. I used a small grocery bag from Walmart, but it was overflowing with papers. I have tons of papers to go through. Yuck!

This is what I just finished doing before I read your thread. I've been dejunking everything. At the end, I just took one bag and walked around the house. Here's the photo:

I am just sitting down for the evening....
Got home @ 6:30....talked to DH about our day for about 10-15 minutes...
sat and read with dd#2 from 7:00 to 7:30
cooked dinner/cleaned and decluttered some of the laundry room/ate 7:30-8:30

finnished tonight's round of decluttering/cleaning of the laundry room.... still need to organize the laundry bins and figure out what I am going to do with the plastic grocery bags I have hanging up in there (to br reused-they just don't look pretty) and then clean the window

In a few minutes I am off to do our mini challenge and then I am going to bed :)

I can usually get a small kitchen trash bag full if I go through the whole house.. In the livingroom, I can usually get a full bag maybe even two small grocery sack fulls.. It seems that the entire family dumps everything from school work/accomplishments, to mail on the floor... This bag of trash thing is a daily thing for me.. It seems no matter how much I toss, I can still find more to toss.... I have my bag for the day full.... Thanks Amy.

Done. :) I rounded up 1 WalMart bag full of misc clutter through out the house and took it to the dumpster outside.

I got two grocery bags of junk gone!:)

Good heavens! I took you up on your challenge and ended up with two kitchen trash bags full of stuff to toss-just from my bedroom!!! Not garbage, but clutter. And magazines.
