I work up in Carlsbad so most of my friends live up in Oceanside and Vista!

I love the weather here, but it is too
Expensive, IMHO...

I am near Sacramento. I moved up from Riverside about two years ago, having moved *down* to Riverside about four years before that! California native, born here and probably going to die here. I have traveled the country a LOT in my job, and I just can't find any place I like as much as I like northern California. I loved the weather in southern California, but didn't think the culture and cuisine of Los Angeles matched that of San Francisco.

I loved the east coast (DC, Georgia, Florida), but am not a big fan of freezing temps.
