I've been working on the "less is more" idea for the past couple months. I downsized Christmas presents, but people still received nice gifts. I could probably cut back a little more for next year.

I'm not a collector, but I tend to accumulate too much stuff. Also, I have a hard time parting with stuff. So, I'm getting better slowly, but surely. I've moved several times in the past 5 years and usually people get rid of stuff. I ended up boxing it all up. I decided that too much stuff causes stress and takes up a lot of my time. I either have to clean it or find some place to keep it. So, I've resolved the "less is more" is truly beneficial financially and emotionally.
