talking about my hubby !
This week we have been really low on money ... we only had $30 for the week for food & diapers. :weeping: We thought we had more time to buy the city stickers for our car ... we need the car for hubby to get back and forth to work.
well ... His friend owe's up $30 and we went to his house today and the guy has new speakers and a/c in his car so I tell Miguel to ask him for at least half of our money so we can buy dinner today (we were not home so I could not cook) he don't ask him !! Then the guy offers him some speakers and he said yes that he wantes them WTF!!!!!! He need money !!!!! We had to take some money from our bill money to buy dinner.
Why do men so such stupid things !!!!!!!!!!!

My DH just spent $180.00 on a softball bat, but cries because he has no spending money. Claims me going back to work will solve all our problems. I fix that by asking "are you going to watch the baby while I work?" Of course the answer is NO, so that ends the conversation.

My husband says that the baseball bat would probably work better than the frying pan that you are probably tempted to use :))
Sorry he has such a twisted sense of money sense

$180.00 for a BAT? It had better be gold plated for that!
Alexandria, some guys are just the wheeler-dealer types. One of my friend's DH is like that. We always laguh when she says that he has gypsy blood in him because he will trade anything!
I don't lend money as a rule because it is sooo hard on frinedships if it's not paid back. OTOH, if you tell me you're hungry, I will make sure you have something to eat!
It always gripes me that some people are whining about not having any money for food or diapers (or whatever necessity they are short of) but they will be drinking a pop and smoking a ciagrette while listening to the new CD I can't afford as they are telling me their sob story!

My SO is so hell bent on getting his new laptop that we are choking. We are saving all our money to move into this great apartment, but he wants to do his laptop at the same time. Men and their toys..... My Birthday is coming up and I told him that it wouldn't be fair if HE gets a present on MY birthday LOL.
It doesn't bother me too much, because he always makes up for it, I just hate the choking feeling.
