hey is anyone else out there doing the Akins diet. We just started it on Saturday.. I love bread this is killing me. Please let me know if you did it and if it gets easier the longer your on it. Thanks Heaven

Is this the diet where you are supposed to eat the fatty stuff?

We just eat smaller well-balanced meals and exercise regularly. Dh has lost about 60 pounds, I have lost 24.

yes you eat high protien low carbs. I am dying for chocolate cake though. :D

Tried it, I can't eat that much meat and stuff-I was an ugly gassy mess-lasted about a week and 1/2.

Good luck I know loosing weight is tough I lost over 150 lbs so tell me about it.

thanks my mum is on this diet and she has lost over 50 pounds not too bad. Maybe i will get lucky. My thing is i want to loss the weight but not have to work at it. Who knows someday maybe. ;)
