Here are some shots of my living room. In the first shot, the clutter collectors are the insides of my coffee table (cabinets on each end and three drawers on each side) the bookshelves, and the piano bench.

In this shot, the clutter collector is my grandma's washbasin from the farm. The drawers and the cabinet are easy places to shove things when people are coming over.

And, the final clutter collecting place in my living room is the end table between the blue chair and the couch. There's only one drawer, but whooey! Is it easy to shove stuff in there!

And, I'm pleased to report that there is no clutter in any of those places. I cleaned them all out a few weeks ago. :) The drawers in the coffee table are totally empty, as is the drawer in the end table. The cabinets of the coffee table have my piano music that I use for lessons that didn't fit in the bench, and my grandma's washbasin has seasonal items in it that get used and rotated out.

Hi! Well, first let me say that you have a very nice home! And it looks very clean and organized. Beautiful kids too. I don't have any pics to share at this moment, but I too have recently cleaned out and organized the drawers in the bedrooms and kitchen. I still need to do that in the bathrooms, but the livingroom is fine.

Happymommy, Yes, we have an adult family room with a tv and a playroom for the kids with a tv. However, our living room (pictured above) is lived in. It's off of the kitchen, so the kids and I spend a lot of time there, waiting for dh to come home from work while dinner is cooking. It's also where I teach piano lessons.
