Most of our meals are eaten within 3/4 hour. We like to take our time over supper so the kids don't rush.
If they want to watch a particular movie or show on tv, they eat a whole lot faster.

Dinner usually takes 30 mins or so. Oldest ds dawdles BIG time though. It's a new phase...I can't figure him out either because he's my biggest eater yet it takes him forever to eat one helping.

Julia is such a SLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWW eater, but it's just because she is chattering away throughout the whole meal. We let her talk and eat because it is just so much fun to hear how excited she is about her day. However, when we near the 45-minute mark, we tell her she needs to wrap it up because she needs to get in the tub and in bed! Patrick finishes his firsts, seconds, and thirds before the rest of us are even halfway through firsts.

Ds-Michael is such a slow eater. He eats only 1 item at a time. Almost always saves his bread item for last.
