My Adoption specialist called Monday and said she found a "glitch". We are missing some paperwork that we have to have before they can open our home as Foster Family. This is going to postpone our process by a month or more. :(

I'm trying to think positively. I know this is happening for a reason, but I'm not going to stress myself out trying to figure out what that reason is.

Oh well, the system isn't perfect.

As a former foster parent and an adoptive parent, it is far better to have all those "glitches" filled out before you start fostering.

I know it can be stressful and it seems so unfair, however in the long run you'll be far better off, especially if you are going to have court dates.

I hope it gets worked out quickly and to your satisfaction.
