I can't seem to find the original thread with the photos of what we've tossed, so I'll start a new one!

Here's what I tossed this morning before the party:

I took this with my cell phone, so it isn't real clear. Here's what I've thrown out this morning!

ha! ha! I knew I should of taken pics! You should if seen want I did this morning!! I'm so proud of myself (and DH!)

This morning we were READY! I've been planning this for a week now.
After a good coffee, we started de-cluttering.
We did our bedroom closet, 2 drawers and 2 night tables. We also did the 2 kids drawers and closet and the entrance coat closet! Took us 3hours total  But I'm so happy.

We've sent a total of 8 big bags (black garbage bags) and 2 big boxes of clothes, shoes and toys to the "family counter" (similar to salvation army) and threw TONS of paper, junk and broken toys at the recycling center and some in the garbage!

We still have tons to do, BUT it's a start!!!

Wow, that's wonderful!

Julie, I can definitely see how much you tossed and I'm proud of you!

Nath., that is quite a haul that you sent out of your home today! That's excellent!

Seeing people toss and declutter inspires me to do more!

I'll be sending two large bags of maternity clothes back to my sister-in-law tomorrow when she comes over for the birthday party. I packed them up last night, and my closet is much less stuffed, and I can't wait to get these bags outta here!

Great job, all of you! I have tons of things to go from the kids closets, just waiting to combine it with a trip to visit my sis to save on gas. No place to give it to be used again around here.

Great job everyone!

I have taken 2 more boxes of papers to recycle and threw out another bag of trash from upstairs.

I have done some work on the kitchen and will finish it up in the next few days-will give a report when I finish.

Great work everyone.

If anyone here felt that someone was talking about you, it was me:) I was telling my friend how I am finally motivated to declutter and toss because of the members of FV . Actually I am doing it now; I took a computer break :toothy:

Wow, the house DH, DSD, and I are moving into was the one that DH lived in before we married. So it's been sitting all alone for almost a year now. We've started decluttering it (mind you he raised his girls there for about 3 years by himself) and literally have about 40, 30 gallon yard bags full of donation clothes....not including the 3 bonfires of trash and we still have a shed and a workshop to clean out....and finish going through all the stuff at my house! Ugh! But, now that the house is begining to get clutter free I'm so excited! and I have acreage!!!

Thank you. I don't think DH tossed a single thing in all the years he lived there. It's quite a task, but very fullfilling. It's nice to have the challenges to kinda keep me encouraged. I'll post some pictures tomorrow of the process (mind you it was a bachelor's pad for 6 years and a redneck's at that so.....)
