I decided to get up early today and go garage sailing! Found some good bargains, but the best was when I went to one sale where everything was FREE! I didn't realize it until I was looking around and they said it is all FREE! Please take what you want! So, I got 2 shorts, 3 dresses, 3 pants, 2 kids shorts and 4 shirts. Great FREEBIE find!!! THe shorts were Dockers for DH. The shirts were Ralph Lauren. It was good clothing with name brands for the most part! I didn't want to be too greedy. One lady that worked there was even helping me saying this would look nice, please take it...lol! I guess they didn't want to put it all back. I even got this cute watermelon painted plant holder for free.

At other sales, I bought:
2 still sealed in plastic with tags on them aerobics tapes to sell on half.com
1 wooden basket
1 NEW, still in box beechwood trivet (heart shaped) to go in a Christmas gift basket.
1 pair of shorts (new, guess jeans) for one son
1 pair of pants (Calvin Klien Kahkis)
1 puzzle and 2 hot wheels to keep son quiet...lol

Only spent $3.60 total for everything I got today!!!:D

That's great! I didn't go this morning because I slept too late. :)

I love going to garage sales. You were so lucky to find that one that was giving stuff away for FREE! That is awesome!

I agree with Betsy! I always sleep too late lately to make it to the yard sales. :( I love to go to the yard sales but, never have the energy to drag myself out of bed early enough. You got some really good deals!:smball:

Wow--great deals! The boys and I went out for about an hour and a half but had to go home when they started arguing and Andrew hit Robby with the Bop It Robby bought. it split his lip and blood went everywhere! However, we got some good deals:

2 steak knives that match ours (we didn't have enough!) .10 each
a bunch of very pretty napkins (we use only cloth) for 1.00
a single napkin .05
a pretty metal basket .50

DS#1 got a box of games that he talked them down from $5.00 to $2.00! I guess the cute kid thing DOES work! He also got some Legos for .10 and some out of the FREE box at another sale.

DS#2 got a Bop It game for .75--just needed batteries. He also bought the receiver of an old phone for .10 (why? I do NOT know) and an old remote for .10. He also got a couple of cool cars for free and another friction powered one for .50.

I am going next weekend with an ADULT rather than kids for company!
