My brother has been in business for himself for 5 yrs this year. I want to get him something special to show him how proud I am of him. It hasn't been easy for him, and I want him to know just how wonderful I think it is that he's been able to do it for so long.
So...I need help with gift ideas....not too expensive...under $50 please.
Thanks!
Michelle :)

Anything he would consider as a luxury item that he wouldn't buy for himself. That might be something for a hobby, his business, or a gift certificate to go do something.

Have something done with the theme of his business. I recently did an birdhouse for a builder in the colors they have their stationary in, putting their business card on the front as a sign-it was really cute and now sits in their reception area. There are lots of catalogs that offer everything from miniflashlights to mousepads, umbrellas and squeezie bottles that you can have his card reproduced onto. What about an announcement in the local paper announcing his anniv. Tell us what business he's in, it might give us some ideas.

He's in web design and graphics. Can you give me some of the names of those catalogs? I'd like to look through them for ideas.
Thanks!

I hope I'm not stepping over the line, but my husband works for a company that handles promo items. Their main thrust is towels, everything from golf towels to beach towels and they can print or embroider anything on them. They also handle canvas and plastic (think: backpack-thick plastic) bags that can be printed on as well.
Chelle, if you're interested, let me know and I'll give you the website and 800 #.

I have a friend who has just started the coolest sign bus. . I don't know if you can find one in your area or not but he does designs on mirrors and glass, etc... . I'm going to have my brother's bus. logo done on a mirror (in a frame about 16X20 size) should be around $75. I've seen things he's done in smaller sizes and they are gorgeous. I think my friend has a websight. His bus. is called Glassworks.
