I am so excited! My husband resigned from his job and his last day was Friday. We had some stock in the company that we HAD to sell upon his leaving. We finally got the funds in our account this morning. I immediatly paid off the loan and transferred the rest to our savings account. We are now debt free, well with the exception of our mortgage. :) I feel liberated and free! Thanks for listening, I just had share with someone!

Thanks everyone for the congrats. We are so excited. I paid anywhere from $500 to $800 a month on that bill, trying to pay it off. Every bonus my husband got went to that stupid bill. In 2 years we had taken it from $30,000 to just over $9,000. I plan to now take that money and put it right in the savings account. We lived without it for years, no need to start spending it now. Thanks again, we are thrilled!
