...From my friend who was my office manager at my last job (the one that laid me off:( She now works at a doctor's office closer to my house, and wants me to work Thursday night from 5-9 and rotating Saturdays-probably 2 a month. The plus for Saturday is that I can take the baby with me. I think I'm gonna do it. The pay is great, and it's not enough hours to interfere with my regular job (SAHM!) It will give us an extra couple of hundred dollars a month. The doc's will also see me for free if I am sick.

Wow Danielle, that sounds like an ideal job for a sahm. AND being able to see the docs' for free might come in VERY handy at times. Good luck with that and keep us posted on how it's going.

Thanks ladies! I had all of those perks at the last office I worked for. They were seeing my entire family for free, even my parents! I don't think I'll get quite the same deal here, but at least I can keep my hand in the medical field before my brain turns to mush. I will go back more hours someday, probably when Courtney starts school in five years! The free meds don't hurt either! I'll find out tomorrow what the whole deal is. I'm meeting my friend there at 10:00 to discuss and to meet the docs. One of my old coworkers from the old office works here now too, so at least I know someone already!

Well, well...we're waiting for the update! When my m-i-l worked at our Dr.'s office, we could always get in ASAP and I had free birth control for years (he would give us all the b.c. pills I needed--our insurance didn't cover them at the time).

So, when do you start? Congrats!:csign: :whirly:
