it costs for a masters degree.......aprox.
I've been looking at colleges that are about $30,000. + board. But I can't find info for getting a masters degree.
Would anyone have information to share. Did you stay at home and go from your masters? Work and go part time?
If you go full time about how long or how many classes do you need to finish?l
I'll say a masters in mathamatics for example.
Thanks so much, the other college thread got me thinking!

If I remember correctly, the tuition for grad school was about the same as undergrad. I may be mistaken though: Most grad students that I knew -- engineering school -- were funded. I think a lot of the math ones were too.
That meant that the student would work for a professor. (research, teaching assistant, etc.) In return, tuition, was paid, and the student received a small stipend. (Maybe $1,000/month). If married, those students were eligible for married student housing too.
Some students managed the triple-play: tuition paid, stipend paid, and research that fed into their thesis.
If you are looking at going full-time, in a scientific field, check into getting funding.

I am currently halfway through my Master's. It's in Special Education. I also live in Arkansas, and am going to a local university. The cost here is $130.00 per credit hour. I am able to take all of my classes at night or summer--they really cater to teachers in this educational field! I work full-time, and live at home.
$130.00/credit hour for 36 hours is $4680.00 This does NOT, however, include all the publication fees, and sports fees, and parking fees, etc that really add up. It also does NOT include the cost of books, which are quite high.
I am not using any loans for this degree. I am still paying on loans for my Bachelor's, and do not want to incur any debt. I just take a class or 2 at a time, which is really all I can do well, while working at the same time.
There are also a LOT of grants that I qualified for to help with the costs. Be sure to check those out--they can make a big difference.
I hope this helps! Good luck!
