Paid off the car last Monday. Phew! Had decided to sell my old rv and was getting it cleaned out when my sis called to say someone was interested in it. Monday he showed up with $3k in cash for it, the pay off on the car was $2,979. First time in 16 years I've had no car payment (except for one month). This 2000 Taurus is all mine, yay! The car's in great shape, 89k miles, near showroom quality. And yes, she does drive differently! lol

One debt left, the student loan. We're still aiming to have it paid off by the end of this year. Am really excited about beefing up our emergency fund after the debts are paid. The goal right now is at least $8,000. After that we can really hit the ROTH's, start saving for dd's college, and get on with paying off the house. Four years from now is the mortgage pay off goal. So far so good. :)

:) Congratulations! I cant wait until I get rid of my car payment. (Kicking myself, because my first car was paid in full, but 3 years later, I HAD to have a NEW car, and then 3 years after that, and then 2 after that....... I swear, I am keeping this vehicle until it just DIES on me!)
