One of the more interesting sites I'm a member of is BzzAgent. You can sign up for "campaigns" for new products, and they send you products or coupons for you to "Bzz" about (tell your friends, family, co-workers, etc). The goal is to create word-of-mouth advertising.

They are currently running a campaign for Playtex Bottles. The geographic are is pretty limited, but since they asked us to pass this on to anyone we knew who was interested, I figured I'd post it here. My guess is that the "welcome kit" includes the actual bottle - in the past I've received wireless cards, full sized bottles of perfume, and books. I know other campaigns that I didn't qualify for sent out coffeemakers (the Black and Decker one with the "pods"), blue jeans, and shoes.

Today I come to you with some exciting news, please help The Central Hive welcome its newest arrival -- the Playtex Bottles BzzCampaign!

Playtex is a company trusted by generations of parents and it's no wonder. Playtex Bottles are attractive, affordable and easy to find in stores, but most importantly, they're a healthy bottle choice. Playtex has two bottle systems designed to help prevent air from mixing in with the milk or formula, which can mean a happy, satisfied baby instead of a gassy, crying baby.

I know the sound of a happy, satisfied baby is music to your ears, so what are you waiting for? Visit your My BzzHome page, you'l l find the Playtex Bottles BzzCampaign under the "BzzCampaigns you can join!" box.

Spaces are limited, so sign up soon!

Know someone who's perfect for the Playtex Bottles BzzCampaign? Are they a new, or soon-to-be new, parent living in the Boston or Atlanta metro areas? Send them the Baby Bzz Boom card or direct them to our special URL: http://www.bzzagent.com/ entrypages/babycare/ so they can sign up to see if they qualify!

I wouldn't qualify for this one since I don't have children. I have looked at the website before and thought about signing up, but wondered whether you really would get products to test and spread the word about. You are the first person who I have ran across that is a member.

I'm also a Bzzz Agent. I just received a box of Take 5 candy bars from Hershey to test and share with my friends. I am terrible about checking in at the site, but in the past, I've gotten a sample of a new countertop material that they sent me in a stone square that I use as a permanent fixture in the middle of my table for putting hot pots on. It's great. (So are the Take 5 bars!)

Hmm, sounds like I may have to go check out the site again. Testing products for free sounds good to me. :)

Yes they were! I brought them in for my co-workers, and I think they were gone in 3 days. I'm hooked on them!

Love the BzzAgent thing. I am anxiously awaiting the Folgers Smooth coffee campaign. Also if you do the penguin buzz, they sometimes send out free books.
