My husband, being the procrastinator that he is, had to do two years of taxes and the return we received for those two years paid off the car!! We owed $5000 and I just mailed the final payoff check (what a great feeling). Now we own both vehicles and were also able to take the collision coverage off of our insurance so that is another savings.
I also combined two CC's into one for a lower percentage rate. It is a lot easier for me to look at one bill and one balance; not so intimidating!
I feel like I have really made progress. I have been feeling down about my debt but now I really see that light at the end of the tunnel!!!!
