Well, we went to a labour day party this weekend. Turns out it was a suprise reception for us that his parents put together! It was a great time and over 50 people showed up (not including my family...another story). We came out almost $3500 richer!!!! People are so very generous I was so happy!!!

Anyway, my goal to pay off my credit cards by October first is now complete on september 5th!!!! I can't believe it, so we're gonna put the rest in savings, but we're gonna buy some things for ourselves as well. DH is getting a part for his computer that has been broken for a while (he's a gamer and I know he's been waiting patiently to save for this part) and I'm gonna get new sheets and pillows and blankets as well as decorate our new bedroom so we have a relaxing bedroom.

Thanks everyone, it took a while for me to reply because I've started school again and I'm very busy!!! The credit cards are officially paid off and we're so relieved to have even more in savings!!!
