To All my fellow Villagers,

I just want to say what a joy it is to have this wonderful home on the net. It is so great to be able to log on and get to interact with such a terrific bunch of people. It really does feel like first thing in the morning, I grab my cup of coffee and come sit and visit with my friends. It reminds me of the 1940s and 1950s when the neighborhood ladies would get together in the mornings over coffee and discuss things. Our neighborhood has gotten a lot bigger, we have friends from several continents that join us at the kitchen table now but we still get to enjoy that camaraderie and friendship that our grandmothers enjoyed with their neighbors. We do the same things, we discuss our families, share recipes, discuss current affairs and lament over the rising costs of living just like our grandmothers and our mothers before us.

Thanks again for being my friends and a special thanks to Sara and Gabe for providing us with the kitchen and table to sit at while we visit. Tomorrow I will bring the cinnamon coffee cake and the fancy coffee, see you then. :D

I love this site and what I really like about it is that everybody is so supportive of one another, always willing to share whatever they can.

I SO feel the same way, in the hustle and bustle and nastiness of the world today it's SO nice to have a friendly and frugal place to call "home". I've been around the net a lot and this is THE BEST place for a person like me. I'm not posting a lot right now because I'm so busy but trust me I read daily, I just love the upbeat attitude and care here, everyone is so wonderful!:grouphug:

When I'm having a down time I just peek in here with a cup of coffee so I don't feel so alone here on the farm.

Warm Fuzzies! I haven't heard that term in a long time. This made me feel very relaxed and made me smile. I know this is just a term but, I know a person who use to "make" these out of small pom-poms. They were very cute and gave them out to her students.
