Hi everyone,

I saw so many posts about the Tightward Gazette that I went to my Barnes and Noble to buy it. They had to order it but I have and slowly I am going through it. I want to see how "frugal" I can become:cheergrl:

You will love the book! Any reason why you didn't try the local library? Just curious but they have TONS of great debt books for women/moms.

Enjoy the book!

Truthfully I didn't even think to try the library. I really should have though. When I went to pick up my book I ended up buying other books and walked out spending $83.00 on my credit card to boot :screwy:

Sheila, it is great to have you join us here in the Frugal Village. There is a ton of great information in the Tightwad Gazette. She has some way out there ideas but the ones that are too extreme for me I just passed over. I have learned a lot from it though. Congratulations on getting your book. :)

Good for you !! She has taught me to stop and think about things more. Do I really need that, is there another way to do this without buying this. I really love my book and happy reading.

You'll enjoy the book! I first checked it out from the library, but it's one of those books that really needs to be owned, IMO. It's a great resource to have on hand. I fortunate to find my copy at Sam's a few years ago for only $10.

I feel as if I use something from this book every day. Tonight's dinner is one of the recipes in the book. I hope you enjoy it.
