This is a Taste of Home recipe from a while back - I tried it for the first time last night. Not a frugal way to cook, but my picky ds happily ate it so that's all that matters to me! :)

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef (I only used 1 lb.)
14 oz. jar pizza sauce
2 tubes (12 oz. each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown the ground beef and drain; stir in the pizza sauce. Quarter the biscuits and place them in a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Pour the beef mixture on top of the biscuits and bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle the cheeses over the top and continue to bake for 5 or 10 minutes more (until cheese is melted). Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Thanks Kahana! We have a very picky eater in our family too! She just might like this recipe too! I have taken Taste Of Home for years. Never noticed this recipe.

I make my own pizza sauce, just spice up some tomato sauce, but we do this all the time... another variation to this : Breakfast, use the refige-dough, flatten it out and push together to make one large crust, pour raw whipped eggs on top of rawdough, add anything you like. Sausage, bacon, cheese, mushrooms, onion, ect, ect. bake at 400 d/f til dough & egg are cooked....my family loves it..
