I have just started listening to Dave's show in December. I checked out the website and am a little overwhelmed with the number of books he has. Which one would you recommend to start with. Our library has a number of his titles, but the wait is long. I would consider buying one, but which one- lol?

Also- is anyone a premium member to his website? How do you like it?

I love the Total Money Makeover. I think it is a great book to start with.

Personally, I started with TMMO and then read Financial Peace Revisted later. I think TMMO gives a great outline of the steps and helps to get you motivated, and then Financial Peace goes into greater detail about budgets, the envelope system, etc.

I've found that most people love whichever one of his they read first. For me, I read The Total Money Makeover and LOVED it! Later read his other books and found that I still prefer my first read.

In my opinion, The Total Money Makeover just outlines everything so well, puts it all into perspective, and has lots of inspiring stories from people that have been where you are and are winning. Love the stories.

Best of luck!!

I would recommend getting the actual book. You could supplement it with the workbook, but the actual book would be best. JMO.:tay:

We were a member to his website for about 4 months, I found a lot of help and Info.
Our debit card expired, and we didn't change to the new one, so got knocked off of it. But now we are seriously thinking about joining again.
If you want join for a month or so, if you can afford it, but I think you should read the book first, that way things make more sense to you.
I agree the TMMO first, alot of the workbook is in there.
