I'm working on stocking up. I want to be stocked up for at least 6 months. We have terrible winters in Manitoba and I don't like travelling, so I'm trying to stock up with enough supplies that I don't need to go to the city for supplies.
Here is what I have:
- 100# of wheat (need to get more)
- 20# sugar
- 20# rice (need to get more)
- 50 cans tomatoes
- batteries (need to get more)
- 96 rolls of tp (need to get more)
- full freezer
- tea
- canned milk for dh's tea
- powdered milk
- canned fruit for emergencies (I've also got canning that I've done)
- canned beans (need to get more)
- 0 dry beans (need to stock up on these)
- 5 lb. honey
- brown sugar
- molasses
I know there is more I have, but its just too early in the morning to think right now.
I need to stock up even more on items I don't have right now and I'm doing it each payday. Are you prepared in case of emergencies, no electricity, a 9/11, ice storms?
Have you even thought of preparing for these types of emergencies?
