Any image on our TV has been "bending and whirling" when any black color hits the screen. We've had the set for about 9 years which is not that long. For about a year, my dd and dh have been TV shopping.
On New Year's eve, my friend, an accountant at a major electronics company visited. She has sent coupons by email in the past but I never took advantage of them. On New Year's day, we went TV shopping. She used her employee status to get us a 25% discount on a Samsung liquid crystalline display (LCD) slim-fit HDTV. Although DH had been salivating over the flat back TVs, we did not purchase one of those. we decided to get the best resolution HDTV in the slim-fit style - these are about 1/3 the price of the similiar flat back TVs.
I was so grateful. Finally, our armoire has a TV and is not storage for our linens. Finally, we can see what's happening in a dark alley or during night scenes on TV. :popcorn:
