..for a few brave souls. Anderson, Alaska is offering 26 free lots to those who can build a house within 2 years. Sounds beautiful, but WAY too cold for this south Texan. (Brrrr!) as in bears?? as in grizzly bears? or are they referring to a sports team??

I'd do it in a heartbeat, but can't afford to build a house in that amount of time...unless it was one of those super tiny ones we had a thread about earlier...

LOL, i love alaska! lived htere many years, many years ago. i owuld move in a minute, but dh won't hear of it. he would not even go for vacation.

if the kids were older i would go out in aheart beat. love the wilderness and those mountains in any pics look goregous. but remember one thing u have to make good money too. Its very exspensive to live there and groceries?
