Are you looking for a winter project and want to decorate your house at the same time and can have family time too?? I know you are thinking what is the world can do all that. A jigsaw puzzle. SOmething to leave on the table to do when you can't be outside. When finished glued together can be hung on the wall and the whole family can do it together. I have puzzles hung in all the rooms in my house. I glued them on cardboard and then framed them. A good way to add shine to them is to use hair spray. This also acts as a sealer too. The frame isn't the exact size of the puzzle but on a colored piece of posterboard who is going to know.

I like to share my ideas with others. I got my sister doing it and now her girls want to put them all over their room.

Another cute idea are those posterboards you color. They carry them at craft stores. (usually colored with markers) They have some neat designs. Would look fun in a kids room.
