very cool, someone else posted recently about the deals they scored at Kmart. I really don't like our local Kmart, but I am thinking I might have to venture out and see if I can't get some deals on winter clothes for the kids for next year.

My roomie got two purses from a friend (my roomie collects purses) that her friend had bought at KMart -- originally marked $15.99 and $16.99 for $1.50. She was tickled pink.

Were having great sales at our K-mart stores. Bought three turtle necks that were on sales $2.00 each. There the nicr thick ones with the ribbing. Also, my daughter bought one pair of dress pants, one blazer, and a shirt and the cost was $14.67. It would of cost her, if she bought it full price around $90.

Waah. No more K-mart in Houston. I hate it, cos I REALLY hate going to Walmart. The ones here are always messy and so crowded you can't move.

I kinda miss Kmart too. Having one around added a bit of variety. Whenever I visit my folks in NM I always find some good deals (especially on my boys school clothes, one year I got their polos for $2).

I haven't been to K-mart in a long time, it's not all that close and I usually have to take hubby with me. I might have to drag him over there on saturday and take a look around.

Remember, K Mart and Sears, same company. I have gotten some awesome deals there lately. Near me it is Sears Essentials, but there is a K Mart just south and it's all the same stuff.

So I went to our Kmart this morning and I am not sure if they haven't started marking alot of stuff down yet or if the good stuff is already gone. Today they were having $1.99 mens winter stuff, all the mens stuff they had left was $1.99. I wasn't able to get anything for any of the men in my family because everything was a small or medium, and every man I know needs or large or bigger. The only winter coats in the kids department were to small for my kids, but on clearance they still wanted $20 for them. So spent an hour walking around kmart looking for a good deal and spent $3 on bubbles for my dds easter basket.

Our Kmart closed a few years back. I sure to miss it and the bargains I used to get there. Our nearest Kmart now is 50 miles away so I rarely get there.
