OK, here I go again. I was thinking about other recipes we made a kids. One, that came to mind, was the no bake cookies we used to make. They were chocolate and had oatmeal in them. You had to cook the ingredients on the stove and then put spoonsfull of the mixture on wax paper and wait for them to cool in the fridge. It was so hard to wait!! Anybody remember these cookies and have the recipe to share? TIA...Kathi

No bake cookies

2 cups sugar

1 stick margarine

1/2 cup milk

4 tablespoons cocoa

3 cups oatmeal

2/3 cup peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla


Directions:


Boil sugar, margarine, milk and cocoa for one minute. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful on waxed paper. Cool.
